Document Signed ('N' with a flourish), 3 pages large folio (a few light repairs, slight soiling), Fontainebleau, 24 October 1810. A letter to the Emperor concerning the sequestration of a consignment of cocoa at Orthez, with a recommendation as to the course of action. A Summary of the contents of the letter is placed at the head.
2692 kilograms of cocoa, destined for the traders, Messrs Dubrocq, had been seized in pursuance of operations against smugglers.
