BULLER, Sir Redvers Henry (1839-1908). General.
Autograph Letter Signed to 'My dear Harvey', 2½ pages 8vo on writing paper of Ashton Court, Clifton, Bristol, as from Downes, Crediton, 8 January 1880. Explaining that he has written to Lord Chelmsford on Harvey's behalf, but only as a private citizen, as he has no 'locus standi' on which to base an official and suggesting that Lt Col Rowlands is the one to plead his case.
