Brahms's visiting card with printed name and address and an autograph note on the reverse. With the autograph envelope in which the card was sent (by post) to Professor Heinrich Groag in Vienna, and a transcript and translation.
'Most esteemed Mr G.(?) / Unable to manage on Wednesday, I will try to meet you on Thursday! / Yours gratefully and sincerely.'
