Autograph Letter Signed ('EBJ') to Webb, 1 page 8vo (some smudging evidently original), The Grange, West Kensington, no date. Agreeing to a meeting on Monday and warning Webb that there is an ominous envelope awaiting him.
'... on her Majesty's service. It may be an autograph from her Majesty conferring a baronetcy upon you but I doubt it - I have recd. such myself (not baronetcies but Income Taxes) and it look much like one of them.'
