With an engraved portrait. Explaining that he had immediately forwarded a letter to Mr Arburthnot. '... It is owing to my having forwarded it as I received it, that (I suppose) I forgot to acknowledge it. Your note of Sunday reminds me that I have not heard from Mr At. in reply.
