Autograph testimonial signed, 1 page 8vo (rather soiled, with notes and calculations on the reverse), Conduit Street, 29 July 1839. Recommending Mr Blackledge to be surgeon to the Bolton ('Wigan' deleted) dispensary 'as I am fully assured of his professional attainments'.
