APPRENTICESHIP INDENTURE
The indenture of Josiah Stringer as apprentice to Samuel Hinton, druggist, of Newcastle, 1 page 4to on vellum with revenue stamps and seals, 1841. An indenture for the period of six years, partially pre-printed and completed by hand.

The Goods his said Master he shall not waste nor lend them unlawfully to any Hurt to his said Master he shall not do, cause or procure to be done, he shall neither buy nor sell without his Masters leave. Taverns, Inns, or Ale-houses he shall not haunt, At Cards, Dice, Tables, or any other unlawful Game he shall not play. ...'
