Autograph Letter Signed ('CC') to [Major-General Henry] Eyre, 1 page 8vo, no place 'June 19th, no date (watermark [18]60. Asking Eyre to bring with him the 'riband and ornament of the Star of India, which Mrs Eyre kindly took charge of for me when I was leaving for France.'
Campbell was to die at the home of the Eyres, close friends, Government House, Chatham, on 14 August 1863.
