![]() BLOOMFIELD, Robert (1766-1823). Poet. Autograph Letter Signed to Isaac Bird in Bury, 1 page 4to, with address-leaf, City Road, London 25 July 1811. Asking Bird to arrange lodgings for his girls on their way to Honington, and explaining that a new publication would prevent his travelling himself. 'I think by the cut of your face, and more particularly by the cut of your character, that if I send my two girls by the angel Coach on Tuesday ye 6th of August, you will give them or procure them a night's Lodging, on their way to Honington. George, we both know, can not give them room. ... I would have a ramble myself, but I am tied by the leg by a new pu[b]lication which you will see in due time. ...' [No: 21561]
