Autograph Letter Signed to Mr Bennett, 1 page 8vo (a little worn and creased), Bateman's, Burwash, 29 August 1923. Declining to give Bennett shooting at Bateman's, and explaining his reasons.
'... I find it very convenient to have a few birds for my guests as they come & go: The poachers don't leave me many, of course; but I have guests now who I hope will get a look in at my partridge.'
