Autograph Letter Signed to Mr Halliwell in Oldham, ½-page 8vo (neatly inlaid), Bolt Court, 24 June 1833. Agreeing to present a petition. Together with an engraved portrait of Cobbett, also inlaid.
'I have received your letter and the petition against "Slaney's Bill", and I shall present it the very first opportunity. I shall also give its prayer my best support; and, I trust, not without success. ...'
