Autograph Letter Signed to the Rev Thomas L. Montefiore, 1½ pages 8vo with envelope-front (small glue spots on the reverse of the blank leaf only), Birmingham, 15 April 1863. Informing Montefiore of which verses in the 'Lyra Apostolica' were his own composition.
'... All the sets of verses in the Lyra Apostolica marked [delta] are mine. They were all written before the commencement of the Oxford movement, that is, before July 14, 1833, excepting No 54 "While Moses" and the last lines of No 176, "Do not their souls".'
