Document Signed in fine clean condition, 1 page large folio with embossed seal, given at St James's, 14 December 1934. Approving of the appointment of Cuthbert Lloyd Fox as consul at Falmouth 'for the coastal district from Dodman Point by Lizard Head and Land's End round as far as Godredy lighthouse', by the President of the German Reich.
The president of the German Reich from 1925 to 1934 was Paul von Hindenburg. Adolf Hitler had become chancellor in 1933.
