Document Signed in fine clean condition, 1 page large folio with embossed seal, given at St James's, 10 August 1933. Approving of the appointment of R. Barclay Fox as consul at Falmouth 'including the stretch of coast from Dodman Point round Lizard Head and Land's End to Godredy Lighthouse east of St Ives' by the President of the German Reich.
The president of the German Reich from 1925 to 1934 was Paul von Hindenburg. Adolf Hitler became chancellor in 1933.
