Autograph Letter Signed to 'Dear Amyand', 2 pages 8vo (most of second leaf cut away), Ditchingham House, Bungay, 24 September no year. Saying that he cannot attend a christening ('though I am thankful to say both my invalids are better') and asking advice as to a present.
'... I want to give the boy a present. Will you let me know what crest or crests & what initials should be put on it - you take the Amyand crest don't you. ...'
