Autograph Letter Signed in red ink to Harold Brooke [of Novello & Co, Elgar's publishers], 1 page 4to, (slightly creased), 7 March 1911 [recipient's ink stamp]. Telling Brooke that he will be at the Langham tomorrow at the usual time before leaving for Brussels, and asking about the specimen page of the miniature score.
'... I shall be at the Langham tomorrow at the usual time & go on to Brussels at 9 oc. If you have anything to ask me will you come to see me as usual. ... What about the specimen page of the miniature score?'
Elgar had completed his Second Symphony a week earlier. He was travelling to Brussels with his wife Alice for a Belgian performance of the First Symphony.
