Autograph Letter Signed ('Ed Elgar') to Alfred Littleton, 1 page 8vo, 22 Old Queen Street, no date [?1909]. Explaining he is in London on a visit but suffering from a headache, and hoping to call to see him later.
Alfred Littleton was the chairman of Novello & Co., Elgar's publishers.
'... I came up yesterday afternoon & hoped to call. I had to go to the city this am & now am laid up with headache ... .'
