GEORGE III (1738-1820). King of England. Fine Autograph Letter Signed to his son, Frederick, Duke of York, 1 page 4to, Queen's House, 22 January 1799 [and timed exactly at '55/m pt. 6. P.M.'] Assuring his son that he will direct the President of the Council to introduce Sir William Fawcett to the Council and requesting that Sir William be in court at the time so that he may attend. Frederick Augustus, Duke of York and Albany (1763-1827). was George III's second son. He was by now a field-marshal and commander-in-chief. [No: 20531]
