Autograph Letter Signed to Miss Talfourd, 1 page small 8vo (a little worn, mounted beneath an engraving), [Hanover Cottage], New Cross, Hatcham, 'Friday Mg.', no date. Accepting an invitation and apologizing for not having recently called at Russell Square.
Browning's family had moved to New Cross, Hatcham, in December 1838, almost two years before he married Elizabeth Barrett.
