Important Document Signed by General Martin Vignolle (1763-1824), 1½ pages folio, 'Armée de Batavie en Camp d'Utrecht', 3 Prairial an 12 [23 May 1804]. Ordering the division generals to tell the troops that the title of Emperor has been conferred upon Napoleon and establishing his family's hereditary rights to the title and asking them to take the oath of allegiance as stated.
