Autograph Letter Signed ('E.OE.S.') on a postcard to Mrs Murray Guthrie in Dublin (remains of mounting on the address side), Drishane, 'Thursday' no date. Together with a brief autograph note similarly signed, 1 page 8vo (oblong).
'I've never thanked you for your most interesting letter - Much enjoyed. But I've had masses to do, & heard from Jem, with much delight, that you are to be here next week. So what little I have to say can be reserved till then (and then, I hope, you will do all the talking!)'.
