TROLLOPE, Anthony (1815-1882). Novelist.
Autograph Letter Signed probably to Sir John Everett Millais (the name not clear), 1 page 8vo (laid down, extensive mounting to reverse), Harting, 26 December 1880. Announcing his arrival in town on 4 January, and proposing to dine with his correspondent.

Millais, a close friend, was one of Trollope's more frequent correspondents. The present letter is very characteristic of Trollope's notes to his friend, but is not published, as are several others, by N. John Hall, The Letters of Anthony Trollope.
