Autograph Letter Signed to the Bishop of Bath and Wells, 1 page 4to (worn and weak, printed catalogue entry pasted near the top, notes in ink at the head), Barley Wood, no date. Sending the bishop a copy of a ballad, and telling him of her plans for it.
'I take the liberty to send your Lordship a ballad of which I yesterday got one thousand Copies to be printed to send to the disturbed Districts. I have formerly found such a trifling matter was not without its uses. I have sent some hundreds to Manchester Liverpo(ol) ...'
