GERMAN SCIENTISTS Over 100 letters to Heinrich Wehner, an engineer in the Frankfurt city buildings department, more than 200 pages, Berlin, Vienna, Beirut etc, 1896-1909. The letters are from fellow scientists, including Poincaré, and primarily refer to Wehner's interest in and publications on the subject of the earth's magnetic field, particularly in relation to the orientation of buildings. Also included is a copy of Wehner's article on Die Ostung mittelalterlicher christlicher Kirchen. [No: 19838]
