Autograph Letter Signed ('Albert') to [Godfrey] Faussett, 3 pages 8vo, (filing holes), York Cottage, Sandringham, 9 January 1916. Apologising for not having been in touch sooner, explaining that his brother David's (the future Edward VIII) leave had been brought forward so that the family had gathered at Sandringham.
'... David is very well and very glad to be on leave once again.
Yesterday Papa took us two down to the Marshes. We shot the creeks during the morning ... . We did not get any woodcock though we saw a good many. ...'
