EDWARD VII as Prince of Wales
The letter from Edward VII when Prince of Wales to Lord Bury is not only an excellent facsimile, but is often accompanied by an envelope also apparently in the prince's hand. The nature of the letter, however, in which the prince thanks the Civil Service Volunteers for their service suggests that it may have been circulated to a large group of recipients.
