This 'thank you' letter is rather different from the usual examples. Close examination shows that the signature is printed, and it should be noticed that the name of the recipient (Miss Iles) at the top and bottom are slightly different from the rest of the typewriting, and in particular that these two additions to the letter appear to have been made with a different typewriter, one with a slightly defective lower-case 'e'.
