Autograph cheque signed, made out on the bank form of Messrs Coutts & Company, for £5 to 'Self', 26 July 1864. A good strong signature, unmarked by the bank's cancellation marks.
A guarantee of authenticity from James Low & Sons of Aberdeen, dated 10 March 1919, accompanies the cheque.
