Autograph Letter Signed to Mrs Hewlett, 3 pages 8vo on black-edged paper, 45 Bedford Gardens, Kensington, 8 June 1901. Regretting that his wife's illness will prevent her accepting Hewlett's invitation, and asking if his daughter can substitute for her as 'I need hardly tell you what an experience it would be for her to meet Sarah Bernhardt'.
