Fine Autograph Letter Signed to [Alison George Wessels] Champion, 1 page 4to, Marine Hotel, Durban, Natal, 17 May 1935. Champion was a Zulu politician and trade unionist, who was banned from South Africa in 1930. In the present letter, Shaw responds sympathetically to his appeal, thanks him for a gift, and encourages Champion to pursue his cause.
