Autograph Letter Signed to General J[ames] Grant Wilson (1832-1914, American editor , author and Civil War general), 1 page 8vo with blank leaf, 25 October 1872. Sending him what he had asked for, and thanking him, in turn, for the copy of a letter.
'... I am much obliged to you for the copy of the letter by Southey which I caused to be published in the Evening Post.'
