NASH, John (1752-1835). Architect.
Autograph Letter Signed to J. Phillips, 1 page 12mo with integral address-leaf (trimmed, old repairs to the reverse), no place, 20 April 1825. Asking Phillips to 'get the points adjusted' so that he may 'finish the account'.
The king, who considered Nash his 'private architect', decided to abandon Carlton House and in this year commissioned Nash to remodel Buckingham House, which duly became Buckingham Palace.
