Autograph Letter Signed to Father Chute, 1 page small 4to, Villino Chiaro, Rapallo, 8 July no year. Returning a book (not enclosed) and telling him that Beerbohm and his wife were going to to Switzerland 'to a mountain top'.
'... I was wishing to read it a second time - so greatly did I enjoy and admire it. It is a strange and lovely work. I wish the writer were still alive. ...'
