Autograph Letter (third person) to the publishers Cadell and Davis, 1 page 8vo (traces of mounting to the reverse), Fulham [Palace], 28 May ?1806. Asking them to send copies of his 'new Publication' to eight persons, of whom he gives the addresses. Ticks against the names indicate that the books had been despatched. The recipients were Lady Lucas, and seven clergymen: Mr Andrews, the rector of St James's, Piccadilly (where Porteus delivered his celebrated sermons), Mr Hodgson, rector of St George's, Hanover Square, Mr Dutens [probably Louis Dutens, 1730-1812], Dr Hamilton (St Martin's), Mr Ormerod (Kensington) and Mr Antrobus (Acton).
