Autograph Letter Signed to William Carpenter, 1 page 4to with address-leaf, 42 Cirencester Place, Fitzroy Square, 21 January 1839. Promising his vote at the forthcoming election for the secretaryship of the artists' annuity fund.
'... Mr Wood having now withdrawn from the contest, I avail myself of the earliest moment to make you acquainted with that fact. ... I esteen the friends of Mr Wood in this affair as being your friends. ...'
