Photograph by Walter Stoneman (half-length, seated), 255 x 187 mm. (10 x 7½ inches) overall, signed and dated 1947 on the lower mount. The image has suffered some creasing and damp-staining, especially at the foot of the mount, but remains a good example of this well-known photograph.
