'... My husband died August 31st. What makes it somewhat unique is that we were separated (but friends) for 25 years. Late last winter knew we must resume our life together but because of the illness of an old friend who made her home with one of my children it was not "official" till June tho' we stole some time together.
 'We were incredibly happy & did not know he was ill till, just prior to his homecoming. ...
 'I do not cavil at death though Hugh was not yet 61 & a very useful man (as well as a wonderful guy) but at the brevity of our time together...'
