Letter Signed (the text in his wife's hand) to an unnamed correspondent, 1 page 8vo (slight traces of moutning on the reverse), Aldworth, Blackdown, Haslemere (blind stamp), 30 June 1873. Thanking his correspondent for photographs, and asking for more.
'My publishers have forwarded me the two photographs of your friend's pictures which in many respects seem to me very good. Could I speak with him I might suggest one of two alterations as it is I can only request you give him my thanks ...'
