RAVEL, Maurice (1875-1937). French composer.
Typewritten Letter Signed to Henry Prunières (1886-1942, musicologist), 1 page large 4to (small rust stain), Le Belvedere, Montfort l'Amaury, 6 March 1924. Thanking him for a cheque, and asking about a forthcoming committee meeting. With a carbon copy of Prunières' letter to Ravel sending the cheque and passing on a message from Edward Dent.
'I am very sorry that you have been troubled on the subject of the cheque which I have found with your letter on my return to Montfort. Thank you, and a thousand apologies fo having caused you this concern.
 What is the subject for this meeting of the committee? Is my presence necessary? If so, will it be possible to settle on Saturday 15 March, to enable me to catch the 17:54 train?'
