Autograph Letter Signed ('DGR')to W.T. Watts (i.e. his lifelong friend Theodore Watts-Dunton), 1 page 8vo with envelope, 'Thursday' [11 May 1876]. Arranging to see Watts on Saturday rather than Friday. A slight letter in itself, but part of an important correspondence and apparently unpublished.
Theodore Watts-Dunton (1832-1914, writer, poet and solicitor) added his mother's surname to his own in 1896. He was not only a friend but a practical adviser to Rossetti in his declining years and especially following his breakdown in 1872.
