[SKELTON, John (ca 1460-1529). Poet]
'Skelton: A Survey', by H.L.R. Edwards, corrected typescript, 415 + viii pages and preliminaries (xi), 4to in limp boards (worn). A thesis submitted by Edwards (and so signed by him), undated but evidently related to his standard biography, 'The Life and Times of an early Tudor Poet', 1949.
A substantial body of research apparently forming the basis of Edwards's major biography of Skelton. Together with a small volume of press-cuttings (book reviews) with some letters to Edwards (one or two cut down and pasted onto the pages), all relating to his 1949 biography, ca 35 pages in boards (worn).
