2 Autograph Letter Signed to the Rev Gilbert Elliot, 1 page 8vo and 1 page 16mo with envelopes, both undated but one postmark is 1845.
Allaying Elliot's anxiety about Archdeacon Thorp [Thomas Thorp, 1797-1877, Archdeacon of Bristol].
'You need be under no anxiety as to Arch. Thorp. The Ch[ancello]r has appointed another man as he told me yesterday ...'
In the shorter letter Brougham asks Elliot to deliver something (no longer included) to 'the farmer at French Fields'.
