Typewritten Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent ('Chère Madame'), thought to be Marguerite Herleroy, the singer, 1 page 8vo, Paris, 30 June 1919.
Relating to his best-known work, the opera Louise (1900), he writes:
'...I am hoping soon to have the great pleasure of hearing you sing the air from Louise which is, you say, your mascot; I am particularly happy about this...'
