Fine full signature ('Charles Robert Darwin / September 21 1852') on paper, 40 x 123 mm (ca 1½ x 5 inches). It seems unlikely that this came from a letter or document, and it may have been specially written. There is nothing on the reverse apart from slight glue-marks.
