Autograph Letter Signed to George Cubitt MP, 1 page 8vo, Royal Academy (but on Athenaeum writing-paper), 2 May no year. Thanking him for 'the handsome little book Bodiam and its Lords, by Mr Lower' (Mark Anthony Lower, 1813-1876).
'... I shall read with great pleasure, as I feel so much interested in the grand old castles and mansions of england.'
