BAKER, Sir Samuel White (1821-1893). African traveller. Two Autograph Letters Signed to Messrs Dickens and Son, 1 page 8vo (rather dust-stained), Sandford Orleigh, Newton Abbot, 3 & 5 December no year. Complaining that he had not yet received an encyclopaedia and atlas of maps and a book on fungi, and in the second letter suggesting that his own carpenter would make the rollers for the 'fungi maps'.
