WATERHOUSE, Alfred (1830-1905). Architect.
Autograph Letter Signed to an unnamed correspondent, 1 page 8vo on black-edged paper (small stains), 20 New Cavendish Street, 28 May 1875. Explaining that [George Edmund] Street had been the architect of the Law Courts ('and not - Your humble servant').
The New Law Courts were Street's greatest commission. Although he was invited to carry out the project in 1866 the work was still unfinished at the time of his death in 1881.
