Two Autograph Letters Signed to Dr [Bethel] Solomons, 3½ pages 8vo (some light soiling and traces of mounting), Dunsany Castle and Cadogan Square, 27 November 1932 and no date. Apologising for having resigned as a 'governor of the Rotunda' during Solomons' period of office, and giving his reasons.
'... a landowner cannot be regarded as a supporter of the philanthropic activities necessary to the life of the country, & at the same time be regarded as a burden upon the state which all wise politicians should remove by taxation & confiscation.'
