Typewritten Letter Signed in Spanish, to Don Julián Bautista, 1 page 4to, Alta Gracia, 31 March 1943. Thanking him for his gracious letter, explaining that he is recovering from bronchitis, although he still hopes to travel to Buenos Aires in the autumn, & expressing pleasure & interest in various of Bautista's compositions.

'... I was sorry not to have been able to tell you before this with what interest I read your songs, doubly dear to me since the music is yours and the verses which inspired them Federico's. ... I am greatly honoured by the spiritual parenthood which you attribute to me. ... If you both come this way ... do bring the songs so that we can go through them at length, and I can give you my detailed impressions of them, for what these are worth. ...'
